Today, our air transport partner, Agape Flights based in Venice, Florida, delivered 1432 pounds of supplies to our ground team in Jeremie! This is a busy time of year to be sure, with Christmas just around the corner. . .so our shipments are bigger than usual with holiday gifts for our orphanage and Good Sam residents, and others from Jeremie Rising partners, like the South Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church (which is sending over 50 boxes of “stockings” for the poorer children in the Jeremie area. Agape typically flies into Jeremie twice a month, more often carrying items such as medicines, medical supplies, apparel, mattresses and household items for shelter home recipients, laptops donated by Corewell Health, and other supplies. Partnering with Agape has allowed us to touch more lives more quickly, for which we are ever grateful.
